Well the weather finally co-operated with me today to wash my truck. First time since December i think, although over the last few weekends i have been cleaning the interior the wheels and part of the underhood. During winter i try not to drive it a lot and when i do i try not to in the rain but sometimes it is unavoidable. I also do not really wash it during the winter other than a fast get the grime off type wash. So today i figured i would give it a really good cleaning. Now washing this truck is not easy let me say that right off the bat it a full size truck and is lifted 6" so it can be a bear to wash. I purchased the Butchers Foamgun a few weeks back and got to use it today. The soap i used was Chemical Guys Maxi Suds and I pre made a batch of it a couple weeks ago in a gallon jug. I used about 6-8 ounces of it soap and mixed it up with distilled water into a gallon jug and have been letting it brew so to speak for over about two weeks now so it got mixed completely. Now i know this is not needed but this is how i wanted to do it for my first try to see the results. First let me say sorry for no pictures the sun decide to really come out and i had to work fast. So i began by getting the truck wet and then hooked up the Foamgun and turned it on using the number two setting at first but did not feel it was enough so i kicked it to number three and o boy did the suds really began to flow. Now I know some have complained that the gun does not shoot foam and I would agree with that but it does in fact shoot a great amount of suds AKA Foam. I started off washing the tonnuea cover and it coated the tonnuea in such a thick layer of suds it was great. It did take me a little longer to wash the truck than normal but i feel it was well worth the extra 20 minutes or so it took me. Anyone who is thinking of buying one i say go for it. I also was able to try a wash mitt i have had for awhile now and it is the wash Mitt that Adams makes and is a synthetic mitt and all i will say about it is it has now been relegated to rocker panels and the wifes old Honda. Also because the sun decide to all of sudden pop out and get warm while i was washing i had some spotting and streaking so I decided to use the Poorboys S&W which i got a few weeks back when i purchased the clay kit that it comes with. Now i have been suing it here and there since then but i really put it to the test today after the truck wash and I am loving this stuff more and more. It did a fantastic job cleaning and residual streaks spot and what have you. Glad i have a gallon on the way. I cannot wait to try the S&G
