OK. I wanted to try #81 this weekend to see if it is any easier to use than #7.

Here are the results of using

wash

clay

DACP

#9

#81

#20

#26 x 2

Conclusion? MUCH easier to use than #7 (even after following Mike Philip's excellent instructions) with comparable results

#81 is a great product and as you mentioned, much easier to use than #7. I used some on an Escalade the other day. I'd forgotten how much I liked the results it gives.

Car looks incredible, by the way!

Wow that looks fantastic......:bow

I am a new #81 user and I love it much more than #7. It is so much easier to use. I have been using it on my show car topped with Souveran or S100....

Thanks! Means a lot having the Scottwax seal of approval :bow

BTW, keep an eye out for the next set of Lexus commercials that should air sometime this fall. One of the commercials shows a black SC430 in the rain and as the sky clears, the top comes down. The car in that commercial is mine!

Hey, It's another SC430 owner!!!!

You are right on Megs HP! Great stuff!

After doing my Red SC430 with Zaino, I topped it with Souveran Paste last week. Two coats and some Megs FD later and WOW!

Pics to follow. I still have some with just Zaino in the gallery and in my sig below!

I hope you put Armorglove or other paint film on it soon, or you'll get stoned to death!

Actually, it's not that bad. This car has been my daily driver for 11 months now and if you look REALLY close on the hood shot above, you will see the only stone chip I have. The front bumper though is a whole different story. For the commercial shoot, the front bumper was completely repainted and the license plate holes filled, but now 6 weeks later, there are a number of chips in it already!

Oh well. My white SC should be in next month and hopefully it won't show the stone chips as much as the black one. But I DO love the reflections of dark cars...

I HAD to put Armorglove on mine! 15 days and it got stoned like hell!

I have it on the front bumper/air-dam, hood (wrapped under it) side mirrors, headlights, fender by headlight, rocker panels and door cups.

I highlighted the Armorglove in my pic as you cannot see it unless you're on top of the car.

Here's a pic of it: My SC430 with Armorglove
