Hi Everyone,
Here is a write up on the first Tesla i got to do some paint work on. It was definitely an experience as I encountered some issues I was not expecting. Nonetheless i got it done with the advice of a few (and very kind) fellow detailers, & it came out great! Thanks to those who i reached out to & were kind enough to give me some advice!
Few pics of the condition it was in before i got to work
Then i got to it. As always i started with the wheels.
Products used:
-CG Diablo
-Cg Grime Reaper
-LA's Totally Awesome Cleaner
-Hydro2
Tires were all sort of nasty
Rims weren't too bad
Once tires, rims, & wheel wells were cleaned. Rims got some Hydro lovin' !
Next, Exterior plastics, Door jambs, & all Crevices got some attention.
Products used:
-CG Grime Reaper
-Misc. Brushes
Now to the paint work. Here is where i encountered issues. I got the entire end done no problem. However once i moved on, nothing was working. Anything i threw at it became nearly impossible to remove. I dirtied all my towels & pads & was at the end of my wits. I then talked to a few friends & got all sorts of advice, which i really appreciate!!
Due to the craziness i was going through  , pics were the last thing on my mind & had just a few.
Sorry its blurry
It's the opposite side but you get the idea
The finished product!
It got some Hrydro2 on paint & glass. All plastics were treated with Black Wow Pro.
Can you tell who that is peeking in the back?.....the Porsche I posted not too long ago!
Thanks for looking!!
Without a doubt this car taught me some new stuff, took me double what i expected but it came out saweeeeeet!!
