I detailed my mother in law's '03 Explorer today. It was fairly dirty, but paint in pretty good shape overall. My father in law keeps his rides washed regularly, but thinks that Meguiar's Cleaner Wax is the end all be all of paint care. Anyway, the process was:

2 bucket wash with Blue Coral (I'm trying to use it up and get something better so don't laugh)

Spot clay with Meguiar's Clay

Wheel wells with Simple Green diluted 5:1

AA Tire foam on wheel wells, running boards, black area near lift gate

Mother's Back to Black on luggage rack on roof, window trim

All glass with NXT glass cleaner (it IS as good as everyone has been saying it is)

SSR 1 with green Propel on bug deflector and hood

Interior with damp MF followed by AA wipes (also trying to use up)

NXT Paste (love this stuff) via PC with black Propel pad at speed 2

All told it took about six hours. No befores of interior, I forgot. Gotta find a way to speed up my process.

She is a very good witch. They have helped us out TREMENDOUSLY with our baby who was two months premature, and are just great in general.
