Hey every one, my names Sam from the sunny Gold Coast in Australia. Just thought id introduce myself and what im about.
Lets start of by saying that i have always had a passion for making things look amazing and love to have people notice this, this trait has gone soo far as to the point where i decided not to take career paths as the work i did would be covered up, such as being a carpenter or plasterer.
It was only through pure coincedence that i happened to "accidently" get a job in boat detailing which i resiigned from today however this is a whole nother story. Anyway through this time in boat detailing i acquired the quest for perfection in the reflection haha, using a buff spinning at 3000rpm everyday using heavy cut compounds just ripping down the gelcoat of the boats made me enjoy car detailing so much more as it is a much finer art with only a few millimetres of paint to work with compared to a boat which has centremetres thick gelcoat.
So that is a basic story as to why i am here, my hobbie is to detail cars and i have been trolling this forum for many years just learning about products, processes and even business ideas, but now i finnaly bit the bullet and joined as i have many questions to ask and soon i will be doing a complete detail on my white bmw which i will do a write up about.
Sorry if this is a vague post but thats the idea as time goes by you will learn alot more about me and i will hopefully learn alot about you all and gain as much knowledge as i can.
