use punctuations...perhaps a period every 5 sentences.

jk

there are hoards of info on this site, jsut search. Where are you shopping? if you're going to a local auto parts store, you're choices will be a bit limited but will do. You should check out online vendors (much better customer service, products...etc)

oh yea, do you have a porter cable?

what do you plan on doing for the detail?

You can get some decent products in the stores, just do some reading and it will help you decide. Meguiar's, Eagle One, Duragloss all make good car soap.
Pick up some good sheepskin wash mits and some microfiber towels.

As Paul said, will you be using a PC or waxing by hand? About the only wax I'd use that is OTC is Meg's NXT and even then I'm not that thrilled with it.
Give us a bit more info and maybe we can help you further.

Oh, take it easy with the capital letters! In internet lingo it's akin to shouting.

Ciao,

Paul

use punctuations...perhaps a period every 5 sentences yeah i know i was half asleep when i wrote this sorry about that and thanks for the advise

good morning, I will be washing buy hand and waxing buy hand, I can use auto zone for my products or I can buy them on the web, I have until next weekend so I got some time to figure out what I am going to use. I will be washing the car waxing it , steam cleaning the carpets, washing the matt's, then putting a leather care product on the seats, windows on the inside , dashboard , the whole car inside and out, yes I do have a dewalt polisher but not much experience with using one any more comments please help me out guy's and thanks again

My biggest piece of advice would be to BE CAREFUL if you aren't experienced with one, or consider not using it at all on a clients car. He may be very upset if the buffing/polishing isn't done right - do a search, and you will see what possible outcomes there are for improper use. No offence - just making a recommendation. Get some practice before going at a clients car with one. Good luck!

If all you have is a Dewalt rotary polisher and no experience, you are in over your head. A rotary polisher in the hands of the inexperienced results in major damage and a bad day. DO yourself a favor and do not attempt to polish that car with that polisher.

By yourself a DA (dual action) polisher (PC) and go from there. If you have a DA, disregard what I've said and have fun!

Never use all caps. in a post and always use periods and punctuation. It makes the post much easier to read!

Glad to see you found the cap lock and puntuations keys J/K :lol

As for which product is better is pretty much up to you.
I have used both and have been happy with both, in regards to appearance and longevity of the LSP.

The key thing is to prep the surface.
You didn't say how bad the paint was in the way of marring, swirls, scratches or oxidation.
After washing (using the 2 bucket method) I like NXT wash available locally, clay the surface.
If you are going to try to remove some of the swirls, I like PB SSR's
For oxidized, you can try Klasse AIO, or PB ProPolish before going onto your LSP.

And as the others have mentioned if you are not proficient with a rotary, I would hold off on using it on a customers car, because you can inflict damage real fast if you aren't careful.

HTH and Good Luck,

also the paint job looks great no swirl mark's or scratches alway's stored with cover over it, thank's for the advise on the dewalt also i don't know much about clay as you can see i am a newbie i know this is a dumb question what is it used for ? thank's for all your help

There is a whole section dedicated to that very topic.
In a nut shell clay is used to remove IFO and other contaminents from the paint surface, prior to a polishing stage.
