Well I figured I would post one of the cars I just did. My fathers shop recently repainted a friend of mines mustang. It had a fair amount of orange peel, sorry no befores, but after a little work it came out looking pretty good. I still need to spend more time polishing as I just did a quicky polish since he still needs to install quite a few things and get it running with its new motor setup. So I will post pics after final polishing and a coat megs 26 as well.



Process:

wetsand with 3m 1500, 3000

megs heavy cut wool pad

megs med. cut wool

megs foam polishing pad

all done with their new solo cut and cream polish #86 and a dewalt rotary

Love that color! Nice work! I wish I saw some "before" pics so I could see the improvement. Now I just see a beautifully painted, swirl and orange peel free finish!! Excellent!
 
Thanks, I really like the color as well. I cant wait till hes all done putting his trinkets in it so I can do the final buff and see how she looks all buttoned up.

It should be pretty quick. Its a 331 stroker with a 76mm turbo strapped on for good measure. I really cant wait to do the final buff and get some complete shots of the car to show the over all look.
