hope this picture comes up. it's rookie time, for the picture and the buff. broke out the DW849 and DACP on my honda today. used my car to practice on because it's cheaper to make a mistake on my paint than yours. looks like i didn't do any damage. not bad for a rookie. let me know how i did...

What products/pad did you use? I learned on the fly myself. Have friends/relatives/enemies :) with older model daily drivers... Experiment on those for free... Charge $$$ later !!! :)

I used DACP w/green EDGE pad. DW849 at 1500 rpms. followed up with a sealant(STS 2000)it is the same product Detail King has but it's from another company. somebody is just putting their own labels on somebody elses product. not sure which guy actual makes it but a local auto paint supply company has it so i tried it out. plan to try PB's stuff in the future when i get a steady flow of customers and cash.

If all your work turns out like this there will be no lack of work for you to do. If you happen to get a vehicle from a little old lady who plays cards---- the phone will ring off the hook.

Thanks for the replies guys. Should have taken before pictures but wasn't thinking. the DACP worked really well at removing some light swirls. Next project is my wife's suv which is in pretty bad shape and is also black. i guess that will be the real test.
thanks again for the posts.
