I look at lifehacker daily and found this little firefox extension. What it does is show you a map and info on where a website is located. (Website, but it may not be the location of the actual buisness, but within the same country is usally a safe bet)


See exactly where that PayPal scam is being hosted, or check if a vendor you're considering purchasing from is based in your country.

Interesting, but I'm not sure how helpful that will really be. Anyone who is smart enough to use Firefox and download that software is probably smart enough not to fall for ebay and paypal phishing anyway. Just because I choose to host a site overseas doesn't really mean that I'm shady anyway. It would be more helpful for it to geolocate people who send me emails. :dnaughty Now THAT would be something I would download. I hate doing it the long way.
