I would like detailing better if..........................







For me, I would have to say I was certain it wouldn't rain for 3 weeks after I was done! :)
 
...if no matter what product I used it would remove all swirls and leave a deep glossy shine that lasted 6 months without any additional applications. :D
 
I would like detailing better if:<ul>

[*]I owned and knew how to use a rotary buffer.

[*]I had a spray booth to work in - fully dust-filtered air and great lights.

[*]waxes and compounds didn't leave white residue.

[*]all products were as easy to use as Souveran.

[*]my back didn't hurt.

[*]someone would invent a product that really did repel dust.

[*]there were a way to wash and dry the car to perfection without having to rub it.

[*]I had an endless supply of clean micro-fiber wipes.

[*]detailing made it look better, but driving didn't make it look worse.

[*]there was no internet forum to take even more of my time talking about it after I did it!

Well - there's 10 - right off the top of my head...... I'm sure there are many more! :D
 
1. I didn't live in Michigan.(yucky winters, lots o' sno')

2. Vehicles dried themselves spot free.

3. My vehicle paid me to detail it.

4. a swirl was a good thing!
 
I was detailing outside in perfect conditions (sunny, just right temp) with hawiian trropic girls holding unbrellas over my truck.





well I don't think I'd be detailing. Just staring at them.:shocked

If I didn't have to drive my car after it was done. It would be much easier and a lot more fun if I could concentrate on detailing one car while driving another, only breaking out the garage queen when I felt like it.

I would like it better if I had a bunch of "little people" to run around and clean the bottom half of my car and the wheels.
 
...it was not so time consuming to the point others think you are crazy.



However, somehow the rewards justify the effort. I hesitate to say "if only someone would detail my car perfectly every week" because it is personally rewarding to see your car come out perfect or near perfect. Then again, I wouldn't mind my car looking fantastic all the time with no effort.
