Finish Kare FK1000p after ONR rinseless on a 98 Trans Am

So I got some FK hi-temp wax in the mail today and I had to try it. I can't sleep tonight since I'm on shift lag, so I just put it on an hour ago. First off, WOW this stuff smells like gas, I'm surprised I didn't get high as I put it on lol. My car received an ONR rinseless wash first of course. I already have a coat of Blackfire WD and a coat of Meg's #26 on there that's about 3 weeks old. This stuff applied really easy with a Meg's foam applicator, much better than I expected after initially looking at it. You could definitely tell it was synthetic cause it spread like butter using straight line motions. I applied a thin layer to the whole car and buffed off after about 20 mins of cure time. It came off with ease, almost as easy as my BFWD does. I did all the glass as well minus the windshield. All I have is a single CFL in the ceiling but you can get an idea of the NICE gloss this stuff leaves behind. From what I hear it's got outstanding durability too, especially in the hot florida spring/summer/fall and most of winter lol. I plan on getting some sunny pics tomorrow and I'll post those as well, everything but the first pic was taken with the wife's Canon SLR.

I actually used so little of the paste too that I can easily see getting 3-4 years out of the tin which is unbelievable for $18. Great value here. I got some Collinite 915 coming in today which I'm anxious to try on the wife's Ram this weekend. Will update this thread with sun and beading shots later on. Thanks for looking!

Very nice indeed. I used the FK for the first time a few weeks back and loved the results as well. Nice beading and from what I hear great durability. Looks great on black. Very good value.

That's really great results. A product that doesn't get a lot of talk on the forums.

Yeah I got it as part of a package deal and I had never heard of it before either. But I'm definitely convinced its worth having in the arsenal. Especially at the cost per application ratio. Which I can only forecast is at the most .75 cents a pop

already on my wish list at autopia car care. todd did a similar try out not too long ago and it looked great. your detail looks great too and makes me a believer.
