Fine Cut

I was interested in using a fine cut,but only have an orbital buffer. Do you have to use a rotary. I know rotary has better overall quality,but is it ok to use a orbital with fine cut. :nixweiss

What type of orbital do you have and what type of pads do you use?

I used Meguiar's #2 Fine Cut with an orbital buffer and cotton terry pads for years with good results. You should not have any problems as long as the product is used correctly.

I just finished polishing my truck with Meguiar's #2 Fine Cut and my PC Orbital Buffer with orange pad. It seem to work great. I worked it at setting 5 and for a good 10-15 minutes each section.



I was using 3M Finesse-It and then 3M Perfect-It Fine Cut but the Meguiar's #2 Fine Cut seem to have a better bite and was a hell of alot easier to use.
