i feel alot better about my pc, pads, and polish purchase i made a month or so ago. haven't had alot of time to get a good process down. before tonight i only had used it once with not the perfect results i expected, but tonight i got time to go again. i started out on a small hood section my white 98 monte carlo, used orange ccs pad with ssr 2.5. this time i didn't ***** foot around i applied some good pressure and went slooow. i read someones recomendation of 1" per second, thank you who ever it was! well after 1 pass i was thrilled with the results, supprised how many swrills where removed. next i got enough guts to try a fender on my 07 black malibu ltz. did one pass of orange and ssr2.5, it looked good except for some expected micro marring the black didn't hide. so then i did another pass with white ccs and ssr1. as soon as i wiped the fender down i knew it was looken good and well worth all the money i spent on this stuff. :woohoo: i guess the moral of the story is for other noobi's like me is to keep after it, you'll get the hang of it. the points i concentrated one were, put some pressure to it, go slow, and work on small areas. now i just need enough free time to do both cars complete:chuckle:
