Finally got warm enough to wash the car....Before and After pics inside----->

DETAILKING

New member
The last time it was washed was around New Years, and since then its been too damn cold to do it. We've had a few small snow storms, and the car was covered in muck, dirt, mud, salt, and road grime. Today I washed it since the temperature made it into the 40's and all the grime just washed away. The last product that was used on the car was Zaino CS, and it seems to be holding up nicely. :xyxthumbs

NOTE: Car is currently wearing winter wheel/tire setup.

Here are the before pics.....

So it's just CS on there? Is there anything else under the CS?

Very beautiful pictures :) I see you played around with the aperture settings also. Looks professional :)

What kind of wash was this? ONR or rinse-bucket wash?

Nice, the man can take a photo...oh yeah, and nice wash too. ;)

Always funny to see all the late model Bimmers rolling on the "new trend" snow wheels. Those ASA's are run by everyone and their mother in the winter haha.

I really need a new digital camera. It's on my list!

I meant to put that pic with the blurred background at the end.....it was just some fun with photoshop beause I didn't realize the annoying cars in the background. The other pics are straight from the camera and it was a really overcast gloomy day so they look kind of blah.

It's been cold here, below freezing for weeks so no washes for me.....

I really like the snow package I purchased. I am running Blizzak's on 17" ASA wheels from tirerack. I couldn't justify spending more on winter rims that are just gonna get beat up and my 18" summer rims have been cleaned and put to bed for the winter. The tires are great in the snow, I am really impressed.

mikebai1990: This was a full Z7 wash. I am not a fan of one bucket washes or Q&EW,etc...so I just wait until I can do it right. I had a few coats of Zaino on the car back in the mid summer.... using Z8 every other wash. I was going to put one last coat on before winter.....but then came along CS, so I gave it a try. :)

ps....I just read rain tomorrow......UGH!

Man I hate winter! Isn't it amazing how much better things look after you de-salt the car?

How was the beading & slickness of CS holding up?

Looks 'just detailed'. Very nice.

Thanks Guys......

Those winter wheels just don't do the car justice though...I much of a pain as they are to clean, I miss my M135 wheels!!

CS is holding up well. The car has been though hell over the past month. Slickness and gloss were wonderful once all the crud was washed away. The car does not bead water like mad when it did when it was first applied, but even the windows and trim were still beading and I applied CS on all that stuff.

just got back from skiing in breckenridge CO, and i realized there that it is NEVER WARM ENOUGH when there is still piles of snow on the ground!! haha, looks great though, and good luck keeping it so clean.
