Finally broke down and ordered a PC!!

That's right, my hands are going on vacation!!:D I finally ordered a PC today along with a couple of products I'm embarassed to say I haven't tried yet.....

1. Poorboy's EX-P

2. DACP

:o

I also ordered a dual action pad kit right here on autopia. I got the PC from coastaltool.com

I figured I would step it up a notch for my business and get a PC, especially with some of the cars I've been up against!!

Any suggestions, comments, and recommendations...I'm all ears.:xyxthumbs

I'm lovin' DACP at the moment. I apply it with a Megs cutting pad, then go again with DACP on a Megs polishing pad, then straight to my LSP. Works a treat!

Also, NXT applied by PC with a polishing pad is very good.

I think you will enjoy the pc. Its like using your hands, just on steroids.

I'm really liking pooboy's products in direct sun with the pc right now. They are working quite nicely (and im getting a tan... lol).

Congrats AJ, I'm sure you'll like it. You were doing some pretty banging work by hand, the pc will improve your work and work load. Let us know how it goes with the DACP, i should be trying out some SSR2.5 sometime next week. Good luck!

Good choice. I got my PC in 1995 and have never regretted it for a moment. It has made the job of detailing much easier. Maybe 100 times easier.

Enjoy!

I was wondering about NXT with a PC, now I'm even more anxious!

Out of interest, why a polishing pad rather than a finishing? I'm still finding this all rather confusing - I guess I just need to plug my new PC in (power converter arrives tomorrow) and start trying things out...

Right on:xyxthumbs it leaves a great looking finish ready for your favorite LSP.:D

Man, so many of us have gotten PCs from reading this forums that they should start supporting it, Porte Cable that is.

Don't bother looking anywhere else. I also considering a PC and after much reading here and through out the web they really have a great deal.

You're absolutely right! I've searched and searched, and it seems CT has the best deal. At $119 + extras included, you can't beat that!:bow

yes the hook and loop is the velco backing plate. It should come with a 5" and 6" counterweight. Most pads only come in 6" so you probably wont need the other counterweight
