Final Detail is the "Baby Oil" of Paint Care

Megs #51 Final Detail on 4*UPP is like spraying baby oil on the paint.

UPP looks great as a last stage product on my black Santa Fe, but the look gets darker, shinier and way more "liquid" with a QD with #51!!

Like Mike P. says (to paraphrase) "I have found something I like and I use it frequently." :band

I agree.
I do not use the Final Detail until after a wash or after using Poorboys Spray and Wipe.
I like to let the UPP fully cure before getting it wet.
Final Detail also brings back that super slick finish.
Great Product and it doesn't cost a fortune

When I heard that Meg's was discontinuing FD and Citri-Gel, I stocked up on a few gallons. I haven't heard anyone say whether or not they like the FD replacement (Last Touch) yet.

I'm confused too. The MSDS on Final Detail only shows surfactants and the description says "cleaning agent." The MSDS on Last Touch lists a lot of silicones, but no surfacants. Even though the Final Detail shows no silicones in the MSDS, I have a hunch that they are present: FD is "not bodyshop safe."

At this point I can't imagine that FD can really be improved upon.
