Final Coat Sealant

recentley purchased a new 2007 Santa Fe, love it! my wife an i decided to also purchase the Final coat package, incl is acid rain sealant(hand applied) interior fabric protection (like scotch gaurd) and most importantly the electronic rust module, low AC current surround car, warranty from rust as long as i own the vehicle, and can be unplugged and put in futre cars ect, when i picked up vehicle, i quickly inspected in the sunlight, paint looks great :2thumbs: i was worried it may of been damaged, has anyone heard or had simular product applied, just wondering if i should still clay/polish/wax before the cold weather get here?? or should i be fine w the sealant already applied? :nixweiss btw heres there web site http://www.capfinalcoat.com/main.html
 
What you bought was an insurance policy against environmental damage. Make them hold up their end of the contract or else you've been taken for a ride.
 
whats done is done, not much i can do about it now what can i say, do you think i should go ahead and do a pre winter prep, or just wait till spring?

i know i know, its not like the dealer used there crap, its a rep company that comes to the dealer ect, i made sure there were no machines used, only hand applications, paint in the sun looks perfect, thanks for making me feel bad LOL

thats what i thought, ill feel better anyways once my products are on :xyxthumbs, ill prob clay, use #20 then top w either NXT/PPG or a few coats of S100

Nice web-site. Hopefully they clayed before appling the paint sealant. You could still reclay and seal it yourself too. Do you have a plan where they reapply the paint sealant annually? If so, make sure that you religously do it, or your warranty will be voided. Also, make sure to completely read and understand your contract and follow it. If not followed, that will deny a potential claim. Don't just pay for an expensive protection system and go by what the dealer explains to you. For example, lots of dealers will tell you that you won't have to wax your car again after they install their paint sealant. They never explain that you have to go in annually and pay a reapplication fee to keep the warranty going or you will be in lapse. Most warranties work that way. Let me know if you need help with the contract, I'm very familiar with them.
 
I guess I'd suggest that you examine your contract carefully to see what you must and must not do in order to not void your warranty. Most of these require that you re-apply their sealant on some periodic basis. If you don't, or you apply some other product, the warranty is no more and you tossed the money away.

So...look closely at the fine print.
