Ferrari F430, eggplant flavoured :)

Hi all! Here's an F430 that I had to correct another detailer's "correction" on. This guy bought the car just before the Ferrari dealership found me so unfortunately the owner got it in pretty poor condition. The befores:

Some polish from either the factory or the cowboy that "polished" it before me...

TN was here!

I think the guy in the picture had just wolfed down a baby

My favorite cluster of scratches that are always on the back lid...

Under the spotlight

After a few passes with InstaFinish #15 and a polishing pad. I worked it in quite a while so it finished up with almost no marring. I finished this one up with InstaFinish #30 and a finishing pad and jeweled the heck out of it. Wax of choice today was Swissvax Concorso.

Ouch! Couldn't save that one completely as the scratches were just too deep and my PTG doesn't read fiberglass... it came out looking decent (forgot to take pics L) though.

Healthy readings all around... I wonder what they were before the 2 cowboys polished it...

All finished! Total time was about 16 hours, enjoy the porn!

Some polish residue that I caught after this pic was taken.

When I arrived to do this car, the owner called me and said, "There's a big, red guy that's coming to let you in." I thought, "Red guy?" And then he showed up... wow, he really IS red!!

Fresh off the truck and scratched to fu... hell.

This one will have special meaning to me, as it's what me and Gábor, the sales manager on the left, will be taking to this place at the weekend... along with 16 V12 Ferraris :argie: Ferrari rented out the entire hotel and invited all the V12 owners and little old me to wash and then of course mingle with the rich later that night... talk about throwing someone a bone, eh?

Thanks mate! I'm rather partial to the color also, but I prefer the California body... I just like the contours better than the 430 (and it's a HELL of a lot easier to polish than the 430!)
