I detailed a very nice Ferrari 550 Maranello on friday for my new client. Very awesome guy. Unfortunately it was pouring friday so I don't have any shots of the car outside but he said that he'll hold off on driving the car until I get a few, hopefully sometime this week. It's an amazing car, v12 beast basically. Unfortunately, it looked like the previous owner used sand paper to wipe down the car because on every horizontal panel there was a lot of scratches. The rear trunk lid was badly swirled and had some fairly visible scratches along with the hood, and around the drivers side door. The new owner, my client, got the car for a great deal so he said he couldn't pass it up. Enough of the monologue though. I was initially going to use Meguiars #80 on it but after 20 minutes of fighting with the hood I opted for DACP with a LC light cut pad followed by #80 with a polishing pad. Once again I apologize for the pics. The lighting wasn't the best. Hopefully I'll be able to take some proper pictures of this beast. Working with the car on the lift was great, no aching back. I just raised it up once I was done with the horizontal panels and worked on the sides, it was great!
Enough talking, here's the pics. Let me know what you think :wiggle:
