Ferrari 458 Italia, Porsche Carrera S

2012 Ferrari 458 Italia, one year old, only a few hundred miles on it. Owner travels a lot in his business, plus he has the Porsche, an AMG C63 and a Porsche Cayenne Turbo (we are going back Friday to Opti-Coat the Cayenne, probably do the AMG too since they are his daily drivers). It had a few areas with buffer holograms, the driver's side of the hood, the area behind the engine glass (what would typically be the trunk) and on one rear pillar. The rest of the car looked really good. No before shots, the sun was in and out the whole time. Gave me enough sun to check my work but not enough to then grab my camera, plus given the 40% chance of rain and that we might lose the sun completely just didn't seem to be worth the time to get before pics.

Only got 4 pics, we finished just before the owner had to leave and he wanted to get cars put up so he could take off.

2013 Porsche Carrera S. First of the 991 model Porsches we've done. Interior appears to have noticeably more room than previous models, overall looks subtly larger. Like the Ferrari, it had a few areas with buffer holograms, again the passenger side of the hood, the driver's side front fender and the engine cover.

I actually polished the Porsche first and when the sun popped out for about 10 minutes straight, HD Speed was getting a little finicky on the increasingly hot paint. So when I got to the Ferrari, I just used OHP since it is super sun friendly.

Awesome work Scott! This Texas heat continues to make detailing a little more difficult, thankfully Optimum products work so well.

Looks like a good account. Lots of toys around you while you work... LOVE THAT! Haha. Nice work, Scott!

Super nice guy too, he owns the company that the guy with the Miata I recently posted works for. Always appreciate customers who give me referrals like that. :)

Thanks! First blue Ferrari I've seen in person, looks amazing on them!

Do the yellow calipers signify ceramic brakes on the Ferrari Itaia?

I don't know if it signifies the ceramic brakes but it did have that option. No brake dust! :)

Beautiful Scott!

Thanks!

You make me want to get OS v2 so badly. I still have 3/4 of a bottle of the original plus a few waxes I have to trudge through first. Great work as always Scott.
