Ferrari 328 big correction

The car came in for consignment and I quoted a price for the paint and interior work that needed to be done. Client gave me the go ahead to proceed so over the last 2 days we knocked it out. The seats were removed to clean the carpets correctly. Seats and the rest of the leather were cleaned with HDTotal but because the car had been sitting outside for a number of years, the leather was discolored. We were only able to go so far before calling it quits. I wanted to be more cautious than try too much and ruin these seats, we treated with Z10. Carpet was cleaned with HDTotal and elbow grease.

Once everything was put back in, we got started on the paint. Washed and clayed to strip whatever was on there so we could see exactly what we were working with. Needless to say, the paint was in pretty bad shape although the client thought it was flawless. LOL some people just don't see things the way we do. After testing out different pads and products I chose S3 Gold with a 5" Spider pad for the LHR21 for the cutting and then HD Polish and HD Speed to finish out with. A 2" orbital was used for the tighter areas with some pads I was testing out. Not sure how much I can say about them. LSP was just some good ol Wet Diamond

Thanks. Yeah I have fallen in love with SS paint. The correction is much more rewarding and the richness of the color and depth is unlike any clear coat paint nowadays. I love working with SS.

The Counatch in the back ground is up next week for its correction. I will be taking a bunch of pictures of that as well.

I bet Magnum,P I and Mr. Higgins were happy with the results.

LMAO great comment!

I believe he drove a 308 but they are very very similar. I still have a hard time telling them apart without looking at the number on the back. haha
