OK, my new Lake Country CCS 5.5" pads came today via UPS from our friends at AutoGeek.
I'll be ready to get started on my Spring Detail (this IS North Carolina) as soon as the Danase Wet Glaze gets here.
I'm not sure if I'm matching the pads to the right stuff. So, I'm asking for feedback on this line-up:
Morning of Day 1
Sonus SFX-1 with CCS Orange Pad
SFX-2 wih CCS White Pad
SFX-3 with CCS Green Pad
Ultima Paint Prep Plus with CCS Gray Pad
12 hours later
Danase Wet Glaze with CCS Blue Pad X 2
UPGP (by hand, of course)
12 hours later
UPGP (by hand, of course)
Did I mess up by not buying the LC CCS yellow pad? I do need to fix some chips on the front of the hood. I have already painted over them, but need to go to Lowes to get the 2-3000 grit sandpaper to knock down the bubbles. Is SFX-1 strong enough to polish out those spots I sandpaper?
