Favorite Wax to use after Zaino-ing

Just got my ZKIT-2!!! (first ever, so proud) after using, what wax if any, do you like to use over it. directly after/in X time/whatever... or if it matters at all. (like any of you believe that)

Or am I completely misunderstanding what Im doing, also a distinct possibility.

And of course, if anyone has any quick words of wisdom/warning, I would love to hear them..

The absolute best topper for Zaino presently is Z8.



Nevertheless, be your own judge and try whatever wax you have on hand and compare to your results against Z8.
 
If you feel you must top Zaino or really, any sealant, then a carnauba that doesn't affect the color (as in darken it) seems to work best. Something like Meguiars #16 (discontinued, hard to find) or Poorboy's Natty's will be fine. Always wait a full 24 hours, preferrably after also washing the car before topping a sealant for best results.
 
I've put souveran paste over it; definitely changes the look. I'm neither here nor there on whether it was better or not. I don't normally top the Z's.

I agree with above. You can also top Zaino with Duragloss AquaWax. <-- Great stuff. Hope the detail is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see before and afters.
 
Well, saturday was pretty good. I took it out sat. night and got some ooo's and aaa's (this was a kegger though, so some of these folks could have thought i was in a Maybach.) I went in this order:



1. Car was clean from the night before so i just rinsed it down, toweled,

2. Z-18

3. Z-2 w/ suggested amount of ZFX = 4 drops per 2 ounce bottle (took about 60min to dry with 78% humidity and 82 deg F)

4. Z-5 about 45 minutes (?)

5. Z-2 again per the suggestion that 2 is "clearer" than 5.



took about 8 hours 3/4 pack of Newports and 6 MHLs start to finish, with all sorts of chrome polishing, engine detailing, ect while i waited.



Sunday i did it all again, and left the 2 on overnight. well see how i did at lunch today.

I usually top w/ Grand Finale however, yesterday, I tried liquid Souveran and I gotta say, it's just as good if not better than Grand Finale. The full process was (all PC steps were on 5 setting):



1. Sonus SFX2 on SFX2 pad

2. Poorboys SSR1 on SFX2 pad

3. Sonus Swirlbuster on SB pad

4. Z6

5. Z5 Pro/ZFX/Grand Finale on SFX3 pad

6. Liquid Souveran by hand
