I'm a recent grout sponge convert, thanks to you. Love how it holds a lot of solution, and you can easily squeeze it so that it holds exactly how much you want it to. Large pores helps it pick up the dirt easily, and it releases the dirt easily, even when doing ONR. I now feel very comfortable with it. Another thing I like is the fact that it is easy to flip to the other side. With a wash mitt, I had to use the back of my hand, because I am not coordinated to use my left hand, but with the GS I can just flip it over and use my right hand. :)

Ah, I shoulda answered on this thread instead of the other one..."none of the above" :D

BHB for the initial pass(es), then sheepskin or MF depending on the vehicle. All used with the foamgun, of course ;)

Just did the *hideously* filthy Blazer...hardly any dirt at all in the rinse buckets when I finished; no problem doing the dislodge-and-flush even with all that gritty winter [stuff] on there (due in great part to the 476S I presume).

great poll considering theres been a lot of debate on this lately. personally, i am still searching for the one that suits me, so far it's a struggle between a GS and wool

Have you tried the GS from Lowes yet by Proline?

i use synthetic wool mitts from the local body shop supply distributer

really want to try the schmitts or grout sponges but havent had the chance to order them or pick them up

I'm going to put the GS into test today after work when I come home. I got some bugs on my front bumper today and we'll see how well it cleans vs. a MF wash mit. I'll be using Z-7 as my wash today.
