a quick detail product? I would have to say yes.
I've tried QD+ . . . it's really more of a "quick wax" than a quick detailer, IMO. I only ever really used it on a clean car.andriver said:Clearkote Quick Shine. I really like the way it looks on my cars. I want to try Poorboys QD+. Has any used this product?

whats yours and if you liked one better than final detail let me know?

It takes some fiddling to get the application right; I had the best luck by spraying a small amount on a damp MF, spraying the panel with a couple of shots of Spray & Wipe (although I think other QDs would work as well), then wiping it on. The spritz on the panel seems to aid application, as QD+ hazes almost immediately, and the extra moisture and lubrication gives you a little time to spread it around before it starts to flash.
I always applied it to the entire car before wiping it off. It removes very easily, but dusts very slightly if you apply it too thickly. The resulting shine is nice and very EX-like, and QD+ seems to freshen slickness and beading for a wash or two.
That said, I find myself using Z6, Spray & Wipe, and Quick Shine more often than QD+. Z6 in particular seems to refresh slickness and beading just as well (again, for a wash or two) for much less time invested. I'm not sorry I bought QD+, but probably won't pick it up again in the future.

CERTAINLY, it is not a protection-type product, tho
