Favorite middle step?

I'm on the bandwagon right now and really enjoying my run with some of the products recommend by the fellow members here.



I am a big fan of the 3M Ultrafina SE of course and today I purchased a gallon of Meg's M105...I can't wait to give it a try.



My question is, what is the favorite middle step product around here (particularly for rotary use) You know, a polish with a little more correction than UF or maybe a compound that isn't as aggressive as M105?



I'm thinking of menzerna SIP or IP in between would be a nice routine. Right now I am using Ardex Stereo Glaze II with green edge foam and my cars are coming out amazing but it seems to be more of a volume grade product that dusts up a lot. What product do you guys use before your final polishing step?
 
Used IP, currently use alot of SIP and I really like OP for that lowerish middle step. I like to combo stuff up too.
 
after reading and reading, the menzerna products seem to be what im looking for. i am going to have to order some of them, would like to try some zaino products also.



my addiction is only beginning. i've been using ardex products for so long. in my area, ardex is what everyone and anyone uses. in the city we have a lot of volume shops and dealerships.

I agree with you on OP. It's great stuff and you can work that stuff to what seems like forever.
 
Menzerna's SIP is nothing short of spectacular.



I can't see myself feeling the need to try any other polish for a LONG time! This is a very high quality product, worth every single penny. :bow
 
I usually use 1Z PP by rotary with either a light cutting pad or polishing pad, depending. It has a long working time and minimal dusting.
 
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the Presta 1500, which, IIRC, some people like for the middle step.

AH...what's your deciding factor between those two? I'm kinda itching to try the 1Z Intensive but that Presta kinda intrigues me too.



percynjpn- I've done the PP as my middle step before, but I kinda worried that it might've been concealing some holograms/etc. that'd come back to haunt me if my final step wasn't aggressive enough. Never *was* a problem, but I did still wonder about it.

LOL...Anytime I hear or see 1Z, I think of 'Accumulator'.



But BOT, I'm too new to have a middle step. I'm still trying to learn 2 step...and I aint talking about country dancing. I guess Menzerna Final Polish is my middle step cuz then I wax.
