It guess it depends on what I'm using them for. For glass, nothing beats the Viking edgeless polishing cloth (orange-ish in color). I ordered an armload of them from JohnBullGarage and I think those were blue.



I always dry with the Eurow Shag Weave.



I remove wax and sealant with the teal green Viking Quick Detailing Towel.



I had one of the Uber No Name towels from Detailers Domain and I liked it so much, I ordered 20 more. I really like these.

My current favorite for all around would be Cobra Shamrock followed by the Cobra Supreme 530.

Cobra 530 or 600 from AG and CG's MONSTER MICROFIBER EXTREME THICKNESS Microfiber Towels , 530xl EXTREMELY THICK HEAVY WEIGHT MICROFIBER Towels.

Really? AG had a big recall on those (version 1 & 2) after the forum went nuts (in this thread) about the widespread linting issue for those particular towels.



I'm with you on the 530s though: I have em and like them a lot.

I posted in that thread too James. I haven't had any issues with the Shamrocks personally. I have even used them to wipe off some polishes.

The 530's I have are needing some replacements. If anyone wants to get rid of a load of new MF - give me a PM! I gotta buy some. :D

I have 2 shamrocks that I got as a free gift from AG, i just used them for the first time today, for wax and polish removal.



they do shed a bit, but they are 10x better than any other MF towel I currently have (granted, I have alot more coming from AG and from Chemical guys, packages are en route as I type).



i like them so far.



But I have a good sample of everything coming...the 530's, some surpremes, some waffle weave guzzlers from AG, and some super silk lined and monsters from CG.
 
Wow. Never tried any towels from Autogeek or the cobra towels so i can't personally speak on them.



Give a try to the Micropak towels at Pakshak. Ranney got some of the best towels i have tried.
 
I like the chemical guys 16x16 blue colored ones, not sure about the specific name. I also find uses for the prima monsterfluffy but for the price the eurow shags are better. at the moment I use the sonus waffles for drying but need to try one of the shags one day.
 
I really like the Ultimate Wipe towels from Meguiar's, especially for removing waxes. I haven't come across anything quite like them. My favorite waffleweave drying towel is the ultra-soft towel from PakShak.
