Favorite brand of PC pads?

I have really only had experience with the Meg's 6.5" velcro backed pads. They do a good enough job but I'm always looking for better products. I have seen mention of other brands that I am not familiar with. I'm looking to get some velcro backed polishing and finishing pads. What does everybody prefer and where can I order them? Thanks

I have used LC, pretty good for the price. durability has be an issue with the LC. now I Have Sonus and they are much better quality. the backing is more secure and the foam is softer and more plush. the big thing I notice is that the products seem to spread more evenly. Sonus had a guarantee on the package that you will get at least 10 uses if used correctly ( not sure if that can be proven either way) for now I am very happy with the Sonus pads. I got mine from Autopia. love ordering from Autopia my stuff always showed up 2 days after I ordered it. also like to support the site, when I can. the customer service from Autopia is how it should "ALWAYS " be. just my 2 cents

everyone is going to have their own opinions, but I like the LC Advanced 7.5 inch pads...mainly b/c of the shape of them...it gives me a lot of options of how to use the pad in difficult situations....

I use Meguiar's 6 and 8 inch pads and Propel 4 inch pads. I use them all via rotary, the 4 and 6 with the PC and the 4 with the Cyclo. I'm happy for now.:D

I agree completely with your observations! I love them with my PC. I use these pads with a rotary with excellent results, also.

Have used the propel pads and think that they work but not like the LC pads. Did not like them on a rotary. Just my humble opinion....

I prefer the Propel pads from http://www.exceldetail.com

I believe they're still on sale for $7.00 a piece too.

Thank you for posting the link to an excellent deal. Am going to give these a try and see how they work. Although I am satisfied with my LC pads the price is such that I have to give Propel pads a try.

I use Lake Country pads - usually from Autogeek or TOL. The Sonus pads are good too (given they fixed the velcro backing problem).
