Fast n Furious, Deep n Wet - VW Gti

Gen2

New member
This brand new VW Gti was referred to me by an existing customer and when I saw the car I was shocked to see the condition of the bonnet. After checking through the whole car I found that only the bonnet and the roof had major paint defects (with the roof more serious) and I only took a few pictures of the condition on the bonnet.

Steps taken,

1) wash and clay

2) Menzerna IP + LC foam wool pad + rotary @ 1500rpm

3) PO106FF/RMG mix + white polishing pad + DA @ speed 5

Here’s the 50/50 shot,

After the defects removal process, I applied a layer of Victoria Concours Red Wax. As always, the Concours Red Wax never fails to bring out that deep wet look on dark color cars.

Thank you for looking through, any questions and comments are welcome.

GREAT reflection shots, i was going to quote one and be like "OMG WOW", but that wasn't possible cuz i would have ended up quoting all of them :grinno

nice job!

damn thats some pretty good damage to the hood! How would rate the Victoria wax in comparison to P21s 100% or something along those lines? I want to try it but dont know if its worth getting.

Looks like a rolling mirror with some red in it :) I Like the black wheels and red calipers, fits that thing perfectly.

I really like the car but it would help if the rest of the bumper is painted instead of being flat/rough plastic. It sort of takes the attention away from the rest of the beautiful gloss you were able to achieve.

Nevertheless, really really great job.

What in the world! Somepeople should be forbidden to handle a Rotary!. Youre corection is marvelous! Top job! Realy nice reflections!

Dude, you've always had some of the nicest pics in the clicknbrag. I really enjoy looking at (reading!) your posts. Fantastic!!

One question: What is your take on mixing the 106+RMG? Do you use this alot? Does it extend working time? How about the dust? Anything else you can share about this mix? First I've heard of it.

Thanks buddy
