FarnbacherLoles Shop & Racing Team No More

STUTTGART'S FINEST
Sad new for all of us that frequent the FBL Shop in Danbury, CT. Shop does exceptional work on Porsche both old and new. One of the best Club Racing shops on the east cost is no longer, it's gone.

Along with them, the entire racing team for Rolex GT class and ALMS GT2 class are also GONE!

Here's why:

Danbury racing team owner faces federal fraud charges

I know the employees at the shop who worked so damn hard only to get screwed at this time of year.

I hear some have started another shop and moved most or some of the talent there, which will be good to hear.

I'm sure David B knows of this shop and of coarse the team!

Regards,

Deanski

Dang, it's always disappointing to hear when entire racing teams go down. Hopefully the owner will soon get what he had coming. A friend and I are almost done building a ground up racing team here in NC. I know the huge costs associated with building and maintaining competitive cars in Rolex and ALMS classes. It hurts when you hear about fraud in the industry and hope they make an example out of this. Also, understand that for every bad apple there's dozens of trustworthy companies still here doing it for the passion of racing, not the money.

It's very sad in deed. I attended my 1st LeMans event this past September and I liked their simple paint scheme and colors of their 911's flying by. Guess no longer....

Well, I wonder if Flying Lizards will be the only Porsche backed team for next season. I'm also curious to see what parts come up for sale. I'll be on the lookout for a spare set of uni lug Porsche Cup wheels :)
