Familiar with New York City

The Whaler Loves Detail City
My wife and I are taking my daughter to New York City to visit Pace University. It's directly across from City Hall. Any help is appreciated.
 
Poorboy should be able to help ya. I know how to get around but not great with streets/avenues etc etc.

When are you planning on going? Perhaps Steve and I can meet you somewhere for lunch or something?
 
Hey Rick, is that one of their specialty school? the main part of pace is in Westchester near Tarrytown.
Gee we could have a whole DC party...awd330, modena360, Natty, Dalton, FiveOMustang, me..and I'm sure there are a couple others:D
Anyhow where are you flying into? Newark? When is all this happening???

I'm driving to New York. It's about a 10.5 hour drive. I know nothing about Pace. She wants to go to New York University which is about 45,000 to 48,000 dollars a year including room and board or Pace which is around 28,000 dollars per with room and board.

It's no big thing Steve. If my daughter does decide to go to a school in New York I'll let you know and we can hook up for a day or two.

I thought that the Pace Campus in the city was the law school. My brother graduated from Pace undergrad and was at the Pleasantville campus the whole time. Either way it is a very highly regarded school in the NE. Is she checking out Marist as well? My alma mater (sp). Excellent school but near impossible to get in to. I'm in for a party!!!!

I have a babysitting job for her if she wants to go to school around here:crazy
 
Steve- Thats what I think. Not sure these days. They could have some undergrad programs there. The also have a campus in White Plains that is the MBA program as well as law classes so they are pretty spread out.
 
I stand corrected. From the PAce University Website

"Pace's Midtown Center offers flexibility and convenience to students who live or work in midtown. It offers graduate and undergraduate courses in information technology, business, and Pace's Master of Science in Publishing."

I'll be in Connecticut all day on Thursday (25th), though I should be back in time for dinner. Friday's schedule is wide open.
