faded trim on 2001 explore

Hi like title says i have a 2001 explore and the trim is faded . Anybody who has used the trim dye please chime in on how well it has worked and how to apply this for best results.

I have cleaned and used all the stuff on the market almost but they just wash off arfter the 1st or 2nd rain. now i want to try the dye. Thanks ahead of time for any and all information given.

I dyed the entire interior of a 77 Corvette. The owner, an old friend of mine, bought the car with no interior and bought used interior from various sources. Every peice was different color. He wanted to go with black because his seats where black so we got some HIGH QUALITY dye from a local place that specializes in automotive dyes and we had it color matched to GM specs. Clean the parts really well, use a dye primer, and spray the dye on. Fairly simple. It looks brand new still and it was done about 7-8 years ago.

my mistake was going to start another post on this my trim is not black it's charcoal gery . have read a lot about black trim but nothing on grey trim i seen a few kits that have different color trim restore or dye anybody use any of them. has anyone used this before.

That looks like good stuff!

anyone have pictures after using it?

I have an 08 Explorer Sport Trac and ordered some Black Wow. I'll admit, I was sceptical at first, but this product was amazing imo. Took all wax residue right off and I've had it on about 3 weeks and still looks like I just put it on. Now the Explorer is only a year old but my get around DD(Honda Civic) was totally faded and it brought it back to life also. It also beads up when wet after 3 weeks.
