Facebook users "like" each others pages

I'm on FB for only social reasons like staying in-touch with family and or friends (what it was designed to do), it's not a advertising method for me.

I see lots of people that are always promoting their products / services on FB. To me and I'm not alone in this, it's annoying when ad's keep popping up and or people are pimping out their page.

I read yesterday that FB is down 8% with teenagers because of the ad's LinkedIn was created for business reason such as that..
