Fabric protection help

Tex Star Detail

Looking at picking up a job for adding fabric protection on 50 Lounge chairs, 11 ottomans, 9 sofas, and roughly 12 cushions about 48 inches wide.

I need some bulk fabric protector. Not cheapy crap. I was thinking of a few cases of Stoners Fabrotex, which is what I use now. That or 3M. Just buyuing in the can will be pricey. Have never needed to buy a large amount before.

So any suggestions??? I need to get a quote in asap, but the chemical price is holding me up.

Thanks

Have you looked into 303 Fabric Guard at all? It's available in a gallon size for a pretty reasonable cost ($0.70 per ounce was the cheapest I could find -- look on Amazon). I've been using the product for years and it is good quality stuff.

I use Guardsman around the house and in my cars.

It's something AF may wish to investigate. It's well respected and affordable.

Does the 303 have a bad odor? The cheaper stuff seems to always smell like alcohol.

It smells just like rubbing alcohol and it takes forever to air the car out enough to give it back to the customer.

Oh. What about using it on a personal car? 303 is just a little pricey for as little as I would use it.

Yeah you'd be fine. It works great but I don't like using it on customers cars just because of the smell. If you don't mind that, its great

Not trying to thread jack- but- How well does fabric protection stuff actually work? I'm thinking of treating my girlfriends interior with something as its a very light tan color (everything from the dash down is light tan) and the Michigan winters are going to make that carpet hell to clean I'm sure.
