My sisters new boyfriend asked me to look at his work truck. He said he was painting a firehydren and the overspray went all over the truck. You could see the yellow flakes all ovder the place. He said he tried everything to get it off. I clayed just the fender and he was shocked that the yellow was gone. So today I was helping my mother with a garage sale and he drove up and asked if I could detail the outside of the truck. So of course I did.
Washed with ONR
Clayed with Meg aggressive clay using ONR as lube
Polished with PC speed 6 LC 4" Oranage pad with M105
4" LC white pad speed 5 then down to speed 3 with M205

Due to dial up I have only seen top 4 photos. I LOVE METTALLIC GREEN!!!! For others info from what I saw in top 4 photos its NOT a work truck!!! Its a 1997 LIGHT DUTY 3/4 ton LARIAT Super cab. So you ask how I can tell that you say?!? 2 things for 1997 if one has not been changed as this one hasnt. 7 bolts rims, and exhaust coming out ahead of the right rear tire. Local dealers had recalls to correct the exhaust to behind the tire, some never got changed.

sal329, I must add a compliment for your idea of the yard sign! Nice attention getter, as long as there are no community complaints about running a business in a residential area.

Also looks like you had an additional "mystery helper" sorting your towels for you. :D

I'm guessing your Mom wasn't too happy about your Brother's socks. :D

I called it a work truck bc it is used soley for work. Yes it is a light duty F250. My fiance was organizing the garage from the garage sale items. My mom left for FL before my brother came outside lol so she did not see lol. Thanks for the compliments.

:inspector: Man Sal you really turned that Ole Work Truck around.:bigups

I also would like to Compliment on your yard signs(Do you place these when your Mobile? That is a very smart plan you had on that:bigups

I am gonna give you a green dot:D

After being laid off and moving out of the house we were renting I started detailing from my moms garage. But I also have a sign I take when going Mobile as my ride is my car with no graphics on it.
Once again thanks for the compliments

Someone has to teach these kids that there is more to life then computers and video games lol. Thanks for the compliment

Yeah, forced labor. :D

Seriously, it looks like they were enjoying themselves and learning skills that they can use when they have their own vehicles.

The F250 LD truck became a "7700lb GVW" package for F-150's later. Those 7-lug wheels are boss. Only vehicle I know of that uses them. Surprisingly there are actually aftermarket wheels made for the 7-bolt pattern!

Cleaning wheels and wheel wells and tires are perfect jobs for kids. Don't give them anything abrasive and they really can do a good job. See the wheel picture in my wife's truck what a mess thread. My 3-year-old got every little fin on the one wheel I had him do. He said, "daddy, i make the wheel clean, it shiny now"
