I was at Sams Club today and they had a little set-up out side promoting this car care product called EZWax. www.premiumezwax.com/

Its a spray wax that cleans and protects. They had a black corvette outside that they were wipping down with the product.(Or should I say, rubbing to death.) The corvette looked shiny but I wasn't impressed. They claimed you can clean your car, without soap and water with this product and it will wax your car at the same time. MY GOD!!!!!!!! It also stated that it would not leave swirl marks. :rofl

I guess its a typical everyday person gimic product. I suppose that if your not into cars then this product would be wonderful!

But I still cant help to laugh!!! :LOLOL

Man..... I miss all the fun. :( There never seems to be any amazing demos when I get dragged to go shopping.

So.... how many bottles did you buy? :D

I ONLY use waterless washes for doorjambs or bird crap-IMO any road dust is abrasive and I don't trust a waterless wash.

Another Dri Wash 'n Guard clone?

One time I was filling up at a gas station in the middle of nowhere, and this product salesman comes up and asks me if I want to try some "race-bred" car cleaner...needless to say he now refuses to sell the product because I autopia'd him. :D

Ok maybe not so, but wouldn't it be nice?

I was filling up my car at the Sam's Club gas station when the EZWax guy came over and offered to give a demonstration of their wonder product on a section of my car. Trying to contain myself from breaking out, I kindly told the man that I was a detailing nut and that I had no use for a "nice product" like his.

Someone comes over and starts rubbing on my car, they are going to draw back a stump.

Someone does that to my Audi and they are going to be loking down the barrel of my H&K USP 45.

Sigh. When will people realize. There are no miracles. There is only hard work, and the fruits of that labor.

Thats such a true statement. I think we all fall victim to certain products or ideas every once in a while. There are just NO miracles!

The Dri wash stuff works fine for your every day driver and as a QD but all those products are aimed at Joe public and the salesmen should realize there is a world of difference when it comes to the enthusiast. I personally would decline the offer for a test on my car. If he persisted, I'd have to beat him down with my ASP. I save my ammo for more serious encounters, plus the baton is a lot quieter.
