Hey guys?

I would like to use this combo on a car I'm detailing this weekend. Has anyone tried this combo?

Thanks in advance ...

Haven't used EZ-Creme but it sounds like it leaves a thin protectant/sealant on the surface. If this is true, then I would think that this is probably not the best glaze for use with the Collinite 845 in terms of durability.

If you can get it by the weekend, I would recommend something like P21s Paintwork Cleansing lotion (which I have used with Collinte). It will produce excellent results.

I know you asked about 845 but I did use EZ-Creme/476 last weekend on my DD. The cool panels (doors, roof, trunk, fenders etc) had zero issues. The hood, which was warm when I applied the 476 outgassed and hazed a few hours later when I parked in the sun, but still came out fine after a QD wipe down.

I don't think you'll have any issues.

I also own this lotion. I might try it out on another vehicle I have scheduled. Thanks for the recommendation.

According to the Collinite website the 476 and 845 have the same ingredients, but with different concentrations. How did you like your combo? Where you able to hide some swirls?

Thanks for your reply.

I think EZ Creme 476 is a great combo. EZ Creme does fill quite a bit, but on my DD w/115K miles I'm okay with the correction not being perfect.

EZ Creme is a great product to use before applying your LSP. I use EZ Creme on PC, speed 6 and really work it in. I will use a white pad most of the time after polishing. Also works great on glass. You will have no issues using it and then topping your LSP.

Guys ...

This combo turned out great!!! I went with one layer of EZ-Creme/1 layer of 845/1 layer of OCW. I used optimum instant detailer between layers (1 hr wait time).

Here's my two fav pics ... enjoy

That looks great! I just ordered some ez-creme and got it in Saturday. Used it under some dgps 3.0. I agree thus far with "Got Leather", seems to be a great product. It really added to the gloss and metallic flake pop on the wife's Matrix!

that looks fantastic, may have to try out this combo sometime

Thanks for the comments guys ... I think it turned out great considering no correction was performed and it was heavily swirled and had horrible water etching on all top panels. The customer was more than pleased with the results!!

The Audi looks great. Very nice job with this specific combination. If it was heavily marred, the EZ Creme glaze must have done its job, considering the Collonite doesn't do any correction. I just got the Collonite 845, myself and knew I should have ordered the CG EZ Creme, as well. Had it in the cart and didn't get it. The product seems to be one CG product that is unique & universally liked. Besides, it's purple! :)

Now, I'll have to source it when there's a good CG deal on-line. Any suggestions about how to get a price on it somewhere? I just hate shipping (& tax) on these small order buys. The shipping is usually as much as the item itself.

Thx.

EZ-Creme creates an intense gloss that minimizes the surface imperfections. I couldn't believe my eyes when I removed it ... it looked so wet even though I could see some imperfections. I doesn't feel oily at all.

I actually got it as a freebie on detailed image ... they were running a special last week that any purchase above $40 bucks would get a free item. The wednesday item was ez-creme so it was a no-brainer.

Yea, I saw that too.....just didn't need another $40 worth of stuff. Just had a couple of orders come in and unfortunately, didn't order the glaze at that time. So, am still looking for the small order deal.

Thx.
