I was helping a buddy of mine today wash his car,he started raving about Meguiars and how easy it was to use, and what a glossy shine his car always has (it always shining). he some times gets his ride professional detailed once month.

My expdy is Arizona beige (a light color somewhat) what Meg products would you recommend? Im not lazy but my expdy is alot of vehc. and the heat here in Palm Springs is not forgiving. So Im looking for a one step product (if any) I also heard about klasse products whats your opinion? :fart

for something with MILD swirls I would reccomend HT PPG. It will remove swirls and has a wax. The look of a vehicle is defined by the preperation of the paint before the LSP is applied.
seeing that your buddy has it detailed often there is probably no/very little blemishes ect on the paint, in which case Turtle wax will look nice and shiny.

Klasse AIO and Sg or Zaino or Poorboy or U.P.P. are the best. For store bought stuff this is the best I.M.O.. Mothers Reflections, Mothers cleaner wax, Meguiars NXT and Color X, Eagle One Nano, Turtle Ultra.

Dude, you are in Cathedral City. I would highly recommend a polymer sealant for the type of heat you guys get out there!

Try Klasse All in One, and follow up with a good sealant like Ultimate Paint Protection, Zaino, or EX-P.

For those not familiar, Cathedral City isn't too far from Palm Springs, and can easily reach 120 degrees in the summer! :hot

yeah trust me mother doesn't last that long out here. Not to say it doesn't work. ive been following the site and i hear good things about alot of products. klasse aio sounds like something for me,i think (once i try it).

I think Im going to try the klasse + ex-p (ex-p on order, just waiting) it can't hurt to order klasse tomorrow.

thanks for the advise, hopefully ill get a digital cam, and send some pics.

So I am guessing by this post that Mothers' Carnauba wouldn't be a good idea in Las Vegas either?

Its OK Brian but in high heat areas the wax doesn't last as long as you'd like it . I'd say 2 weeks at the most . The Polymer in the sealants has a higher melting point than the carnuba in waxes so it lasts longer . And you can top the sealant with a good coat of wax to protect it even more..
Out here in Hawaii its mostly 86 degress and I find sealant/wax combo is good for 3 months depending on washing habits..Aloha .

Well I guess I need to start trying sealants. I have only used carnauba so far. I am still new at this and everytime I try something new it is like WOWSA!!!!!! So I guess I will try something new. Thanks, Brian :drunk
