Experienced folks in MA?

Hi all,
I'm looking for some help dialing in a process for my (wait for it... wait for it... ) JET BLACK (ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!) BMW (nooooooooooo!!).

I'm not looking to go ballistic over it every week. I am looking to fix the mess the dealer prep made out of it, and thus far, I'm not having much luck using my DA and PB's polishes. I think I may be going to gently on it, but thus far about all I've done is induced some micromarring that wasn't there originally while eliminating some (but not all swirling).

I suspect I need to start out more aggressively with something like M105 to really fix things, but I was hoping there might be someone in the area with more experience to kick me in the right direction.

Sorry, I was throwing that out there broadly... I'm willing to travel, lol :)

I'm in Wrentham. Think Premium Outlets, Sullivan Stadium (did I say Sullivan? Sorry, Gillette).

Off the top of my head........

Dtrick is out of springfield/holyoke.
Or look for holland patrick out of hartford, or eco CT. outr of hartford area

or wait for pb detail weekend

There's a lot of good detailers here at DC, just hold out and keep asking and you'll find the right guy. Or like Ron said you can always wait for detail weekend. I plan on being there and will help if I can.

Dave, have you actually ever seen any of cartoysautospa's work?

use a yellow foam pad with some medium cut compound that has polish in the formula.Chrysler paint is very forgiving , but is easy to swirl up. Use a yellow pad to remove the swirls on a cyclo buffer, with some 1500 grit compound/polish, then finish up with a green foam pad with your sealer, it will be liquid glass if done correctly

No I haven't.
I appologize If I broke any rules here but this type of advice I wouldn't use on any black car whether it be a Yugo or a Chrysler and especially not a Jet Black BMW

Hey Dave tell Jack to stop staring  she's not getting any hot dogs :rofl

RickRack from another forum has mastered jet black. He is in Wakefield which I think it about 45 minutes from Schaefer Stadium.
