Experience with 1Z Exclusiv Glanz

I have been using NXT car wash but decided to give 1Z Exclusiv Glanz a try this past weekend. First I noticed that it has the same scent as the 1Z Cockpir Premium. Haven't decided if I like the smell yet, but it did kind of remind me of dog shampoo. Using a sheepsking wash mitt, I noticed that the 1Z Exclusiv was quite slick but didn't go on with much suds. There was a layer of suds on the top of the bucket about an inch thick, but when applied to the paint, there were very little suds. Not that it really matters about the amount of suds as long as it's cleaning effectively, but I kind of use the suds as an indicator of where I already made a pass with the wash mitt and about where to make the next pass. Any of you noticed the same when using the 1Z Exclusiv?

I have only the NXT wash to compare with and that wash was slick and produced a lot of suds. Not too worried about feedback on the NXT saying that it's too strong when not dliuted correctly as I am more than willing to reapply sealant every month to two months if needed. Just noticed the less amount of suds in the 1Z Exclusiv and that it's a very thin liquid. Still have the 1Z Perls to try as well.

Also thinking about trying either Pooboy's SS&S or the Optimum car wash next.

Many of the European car shampoos are low suds/high lubrication/high cleaning. I wouldn't use suds as a reliable guide for cleaning or lubrication. Your results are the best guide.

I didn't notice the cleaning power much as my car wasnt' that dirty, but it seemed to clean the grime from driving in the rain without a problem. I could see a slight film on the car after passing over with the wash mitt, but it rinsed right off.

Not really using the suds as a indicator of cleaning power. As I said, more or less as a guide to judge where I made the previous pass with the wash mitt and where to make the next pass. With more suds, I know pretty much the extent that my previous pass went and do a slight overlap with the next pass. Kind of just a habit I guess. But with the 1Z Exclusiv, it seemed to just push water around and couldn't really tell where I covered with the previous pass. Not a big deal at all, just end up overlapping more. I guess I just got used to washing and using the suds trail as an indicator of where I already washed with the mitt.

That said, I liked the way that the 1Z did work. Just don't know if I like the scent. Didn't seem to mind the scent of the Cockpit Premium as I didn't use that much of it. But my hands smelled like I had washed a dog afterwards and my wash mitt also smells like that.

Fantastic product ! Been using it for quite a while.

Do you use just the Exclusive Glanz? Or do you also use the Perls? I have the Perls also, but haven't tried it just yet.

What do you like about the Exclusiv? The lubricity seemed really good to me.

I've got quite a bit of both since they "discontinued" Glanz and I had a meltdown. I prefer the Glanz over the Perls. It's a personal preference but I prefer working with it compared to the Perls. (Perls was 2X more expensive.)

Both are brilliant, exclusive I found has slightly more suds and great for carnuaba waxes

I've mixed both together and found improved slickness.

Can't complain about the 1Z line, top shelf gear
