Exhaust Stain

I was detailing a Dodge Cummins 4x4 today. white.

Where the exhaust comes out on the rear right side, there is a yellow stain on the paint. It is deisel exhaust. I told him i would look into how to remove it. I tried Meguirs Paint Cleaner. And it wouldnt polish out with #9.

Any ideas for products or techniques that could remove it? It is in a tight space so a buffer is out of the question. I dont have a photo, but i think you get the idea.:nixweiss

thanks

Rob

Have you tried Tarminator or EF Hi-Intensity? I found that either of the products work well for stains that would not budge otherwise.

I never thought of clay.. I will give it a try. its a long shot imho. but worth a shot.

Thanks

Try FI-II, if that doesn't work it may be stained for good. deisel exhaust is full of sulfur i think, and sulfur in it's solid form is yellow i think.
