<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">Exchanging thoughts and ideas is one of the most important thing to scholars.
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">Technology on the other hand is not so easy to exchange.
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">There is an inherent learning curve that comes with new technology.
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">Is there a way that can help us bridge our businesses in with new technology?
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">I believe there is, and it is called Adobe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">Adobe Exchange is a whole set of themes and addons that give great funcitonality
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">to the already powerful Adobe Suite. I have been using the Exchange for quite a while,
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">and just found the "Panel" today.
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">https://www.adobeexchange.com/#
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">No longer do I need to leave one of the Adobe Programs to search for a widget.
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">I can now do that in a side panel inside my program.
<span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">I absolutely <span style="font-size:48px;">LOVE this technology.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am not your typical Adobe Fanboy.
While I have always been a "fan" of adobe,
I had never gotten into them hardcore.
This was a huge mistake.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As I write this article, I am 34 years old.
This puts me right in the start of powerful computing.
I instantly found a passion for technology.
My first real jump into this was with a company called Bungie.
I did not work "with" the company, but worked in a community
to mod games and create levels.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, I say Bungie and the Halo fans rejoice. I am not talking
about Halo. This game was way before Halo, and in my opinion
vastly superior gameplay to Halo.
This game was called Myth: The Fallen Lords
This game was not a FPS, so they can not be compared head to head.
This game (Myth:TFL) was where Forge and Anvil were created.
Halo fans will notice that these are the fun level and model editing tools
used to practically develop new video games, or add on levels.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You could say that I was designing Halo levels before Halo existed.
In reality, Myth:TFL was one of the best multi-player games ever,
and it had a great online clan/guild system.
It was a blast, and it fed my love for technology more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For College, I started off going through some web design classes.
Since this was pre-2000, Website Design Wizards were just becoming hot.
These are the simple boxes that allow you to design a very simple site with
just a few clicks and options.
Since these "wizards" could do what had previously taken me hours of coding,
in only a few minutes, I decided that Web Design was a waste of time.
That was probably one of the worst decisions that I have ever made.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since I decided that long drawn HTML was too cumbersome, I pursued
my passion in science instead of technology.
This led to a lack of updating my web development skills.
I fell way behind.
Then, I found Adobe
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The best Adobe application for me has been After Effects.
Lightroom is a close second for me.
Muse is fast becoming a Contender for favorite application
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I strongly suggest that you look into a Creative Cloud Membership.
Previously, I was hesitant to purchase Adobe.
These products were updated consistently, which meant you had to keep shelling
out hundreds of dollars with each update. Or you don't get the new shiny features.
But We All Love Shiny.
Creative Cloud keeps giving us the shiny new versions, with no additional cost.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are serious about joining Creative Cloud, I would appreciate it if you message me.
I can get you a referral link, and possibly an extended trial.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally, I got a deal that I could not refuse with Creative Cloud.
I do NOT think that you will be able to get the same amazing value,
but there are deals out there.
First offI got in during the launch of Creative Cloud. When Adobe told me that
I would get free version updates for life, I was in.
How can I put a value on that? Never having to purchase another Adobe program. Ever.
I would say "very".
Second, I got student pricing with my college email address. This was a very simple
procedure,
These two things have me at 19.99 a month (plus tax)
The normal Creative Cloud is 49.99 a month (without discount)
I am not sure if I am locked into this amount "forever".
My hopes are high that it will stay that rate as long as I stay active.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aside from the great deal, just having the design power of Adobe behind you
is valuable in itself. Let me share with you one of the sites that I am currently
designing.
http://padredetail.businesscatalyst.com
Keep in mind that this site is under current construction.
This is a theme that I am adapting for my own site.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To see the theme best, view on a desktop computer.
Make sure that you scroll down to see the mechanics of the page.
It still looks good on phone and tablet, and is totally resizable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope that you have seen at least one good reason to use Adobe to market
your business. For me, just saving time is valuable.
How much do you value your time?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you use Adobe?
Have any questions or comments?
