Ex???

I just did a PB SSR1 on a polishing pad with a Cyclo then EX times 3 on an silver blue 1958 Corvette. I was looking real hard at RMG before I applied EX but I using EX the first time I wanted to see what it looked like without any help. My questions are: How well with EX bond over the top of RMG or will it bond at all? What will topping EX with Natty give me in the way of looks? If I top EX do I have to remove the Natty prior to adding another coat of EX or will EX bond to Natty? What would be the average durability of EX over a clean surface?

I've heard of many people doing this combo with excellent results

A little more depth and wetness

I would not add more EX, but rather add more Natty's

Too many variables to figure into each persons application & maintenece , but I would say 3-6 months :)

I can't speak for the RMG, but I can tell you I was not happy the combination of VM and EX. I felt that it degraded the durability of the EX, the water beading effect definitely suffered very early, and VM really didn't add enough to the appearance to make it worthwhile.

I haven't tested the bounds of EX beyond @ 3 months, but when I have refreshed it, it wasn't necessarily because the finish looked to need it.

I am looking forward to seeing what Natty's Blue adds to the EX.

Thanks for the responses. The 58 Vette doesn’t see enough bad weather to test the durability but I really like the looks of EX so I may try them on my daily driver.:)
