EX Review

:) I saw that too, after looking at the bottles and poor rating. I wouldn't care for 1 bad review. Maybe he had bad luck or bad application / batch etc. Rank that against all the other reviews have done on Steve's Review. It would be nice if someone did boost the rating, but that seems desperate.

I am quite happy with Poorboy's products, and Steve doesn't care for competition. :hippi
 
It wouldn't be desperate...if you have used it and like it...leave an honest opinion; nothing wrong with that.
 
True. I could post a review, but I don't have much to compare it against. Any other junkies out there to do some reviews?
 
Guys you don't have to defend EX from a dentist and financial analyst...look at any of the threads by Scottwax and read about use and durability....he keep records of every step used on a vehicle dating back years...and his last 5 months have proven these two reviews to be misleading to some, and just their opinions...Scott's a professional detailer doing all his work by hand, and could teach any of us quite a bit. :cool :hippi

Maybe he didn't know what he was doing or maybe he is brand loyal to another product, or maybe he just doesn't like it!

If everyone in the world gave the same review I would not care, I like what I use because it works best for ME.

There are a few people over at Autopia that seem to have a "axe to bear" for certain products or vendors. I can't say for sure, but I would suspect that these individuals have little, or no idea what they are talking about.

Keep in mind that anyone that can "slap" a coat of wax on a vehicle............... can do a review on it. That doesn't mean they applied, and removed it correctly, or did the prep correctly with the right products. However, they are certainly entitled to their opinion, but that doesn't mean that anyone has to pay any attention to it.

I would agree with Steve. Scottwax IS a pro detailer, that works with all kinds of products everyday. I would certainly value his opinion much more than any of the "Pretenders"! :D

My personal experience is that most products require more than one use to make an educated opinion on the product. I have experienced issues using a variety of products at first and the results typically end up being attributed to method of application, conditions when using the product, or experimenting with the limitations of the product. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I have always gotten results that I am satisfied with using poorboys products. :bigups
 
MY REVIEW GOT DELETED - it was there last night. Maybe the took exception to my reference about questioning what the previous reviewer was smoking.
 
AND!! I posted a separate review of PwC and they not only deleted that they deleted any reference to the product!
 
The EX review is there now , Iam guessing the second one as it has no references to "certain" individuals

Same here Nick. Although I still go to the other sites I prefer DC. Very nice helpful group of people.

I love the latest reviewer over there - he basically slams EX - says it is worthless and spray on wax does better - when I read his review he kept complaining about how hard it was to remove -sounds like he didn't wait very long - funny part is he has a review of Z2 on there where he gives it almost 5 stars - without ZFX Z2 has a dry time of an hour!!

I did get kind of p*ssed though as he seemed suggest any positive reivews were just "people who liked Steve."
