DetailCad

God drives a Cadillac.
Hi Guys,

I've been lurking here for some time and finally decided to join in. I've gotten a lot of good information from the forum and look forward to being an active participant.

I'm an amateur detailer by your standards. I'm 51, married and two dogs. I got interested in detailing a few years ago when I purchased a '65 Fleetwood (dark blue). It had been in a warehouse for 22 years. I got her back on the road and used her as my daily driver for 4 1/2 years. Then sold it and bought a new DeVille DHS last year.

I try to keep my cars looking nice but don't have a garage. So, they are exposed 24/7. At home, I have to park under a Maple tree (wife is a tree hugger), so I have a never ending battle to keep my car and her Tahoe (some tree hugger) looking nice.

It is great to be here.

:welcome :dcrules

Many of us are hobbyists or weekend warriors, but there are plenty of pros too.

Where in Nashville are you? I lived there from 1998-2001.

Tree hugger with a big V-8 huh? Sounds like mixed signals to me! :hippi

Welcome aboard and we always like a good sense of humor around here!

:welcome

Mike
