EX layering

I searched for the answer, but didn't find anything. Anyway, I put a layer of EX on the car about a week ago. Now I want to add a second layer to ensure even coverage. I haven't driven the car, it has stayed in the garage the whole time. Should I give it a quick cleaning with some S&W before adding the second layer, or can I just go ahead without doing any cleaning? I don't think it has a lot of dust on it, but I want to be sure I don't accidentlly seal something in.

Thanks

Safe: A quick cleaning with Spary and Wipe.

yes a quick cleaning would be best:)

I second...make that third the opinions expressed above.

I will add, get ready for a pleasant surprise at the visual results! I have 3 applications of EX on a '96 Volvo 850 GLT, Pewter in color with almost 150K miles. It looks showroom new.

Clean 1st, if you're already happy with the finish try topping with EXP, its clear and will seal the wet look!!
