EX and EX-P

I was just wanting to know if EX-P has better shine and durability than EX. I have a bottle of EX and it is real good stuff. I top with multiple coats of Natty's Blue. Being that I use the Natty's Blue anyway, I really do not need the short cut of having the carnauba in the sealant. My question is doe's the pure sealant EX-P have better protection or gloss that the EX? Do any of you have a preference between the two and why? Remember I will top with the Natty's Blue. I am going to strip the wax and clay and polish and reseal and want to do the best thing for lasting protection and shine. You opinions are welcome.
 
What color car are you doing? I've havn't used EX or EX-P yet, but from what I've learned, the EX-P should last a little longer. The EX is good if there are some imperfections you want to hide. Since you're going to top it with Natty's, I think you should go with the EX-P.

Are you trying to hide any imperfections? If not, I'd still say do 2 coats of EX-P and then a couple layers of Natty's Blue.

EDIT: Just saw that you already had the EX. I don't think the durability between EX and EX-P is that significant, so you might just want to stay with the EX.
 
The EX-P will be good for the metal flake but other than that you'd get good results no matter what...
 
I have both :) I picked up the EX-P specifically for a new addition to the family, a Silver Reflex (metallic) VW NB TS. I can't say for certain, because I haven't used EX on that vehicle, but do have EX on the other a Pewter (metallic) Volvo 850 GLT. Both products seem to hold up pretty well. I don't notice too much flake muting on the Volvo with EX. I think you will be happy with either choice. Since you are topping with Natty's anyway, I don't see where durability will even come into the equation. So, go for best looks, and you are the ultimate responder to that question.
