The paint was polished with M205 about a month ago, and burnished with FPII over the weekend. DG105 was the LSP. The Evo's Graphite Gray paint almost seems to suck in light, as can be seen in the second pic.

Hi

Nice work! I love the colour and think i have the same colour as you and always go the glaze and wax route. I love the 5th shot down!

It lives! Very nice FJF. Looks suuuper slick. Cant wait to see it in person.

Those 235s look really wide on the wheels too, dang. I just stuffed some 245/45 re01rs on mine fillin up the wells.

I appreciate the kind words, guys. I used a white LC pad with M205. The paint didn't need much correction; there was just a bit surface marring on the clear and this combo took care of it very quickly. It finished down well, too, with a Flex DA. FPII was used with a grey LC pad.

I have never been a fan of engine cleaning. Alot of the modern cars have those easy to maintain plastic covers over the engine. My Lancer too has just the engine exposed and plenty of electrical connectors open and exposed. I do not enjoy cleaning it.

I'm happy with how the engine bay turned out. The plastic and rubber pieces were treated with Sonus Trim & Motor Kote about 6 weeks ago and it's still holding strong. I didn't follow directions by using a towel to wipe-down the product. There's no fake gloss, just a nice matte original looking finish of new plastic and rubber. The under hood metal was sealed with 1000P when the car was originally delivered and maintained with AJT. I try to make everything look like it did when the car left the showroom.
