European Car Show Pics

Here are some pictures (check the link) from the 2002 European Car Show in St. Louis There were over 130 cars on display. I didn't come close to getting pictures of them all. I missed almost all the BMW's and the Jaguars including my own. (if you look hard you can see my red 2002tii just above the Porsche in the photo here and to the right in the far background you can spot my creme XK 150 with the bonnet up. Proof that I actually was there!)

I think what you saw was the Jaguar XJ220! 5 of them in the US. he was having problems getting it licensed still. Doh! Nice paperweight, though!

Its marvellous to see your 2002tii looking in great shape once again. Superb job Brad.

I went there also, and was not very impressed due to the fact that many of the vehicles where not even washed much less detailed. That Jaguar was a show stopper though!! I could not believe it was a '93!

Brad those pics are shweet! with all the sunlight reflected off those finishes, you definitly needed shades!

I agree. There were a few cars that looked like they had spent some time getting ready, but not many. Mine is the black BMW 528 in Brad's photo album(Thanks for all the coverage, Brad) and I spent about 20+ hours last week getting mine ready. It was cool getting all of the compliments that I did get, even though Brad's 2002tii kicked my ***! :bow Congrat's Brad on the trophy. Usually it's the Jag that steals the show! At least now, I won't have to work on it for a while, since now I get to do my wife's 330Ci!! She saw how much better mine looked than her's!

I think my favorite was the Silver Porsche 993 Turbo S that got there late and didn't get in. If he would only take off the obnoxious wing, it would rival anything there, even the XK220 in my book! I'll try to post a photo tomorrow.

I should recant my statement and say that there was some beautiful automobiles displayed at the show such as yours and Brad’s, but to see your masterpiece’s in the same lot as some of the unkempt was not fair.

Brad, congrats on winning (again!). Always nice to see some Alfa's, shame no pics of the Alfa engines :(

Once again, well done Brad :bow
