Euro Delivery - advice??

Folks,

Picking up a new car in Germany next week, and will be over there for six weeks before it gets shipped home.

I'd like to take a small, yet complete, kit of stuff with me to get a proper coat of sealant and so forth on the car. I've been using Ultima, and intend on continuing with that.

other than the paint guard, some MF's, Ultima wash, and some tire/trim stuff, what do I need to prep this car??

I've never owned a new one, and seeing how this one is brand new, and I must accept full responsibility from day 0, I'd like to hear from you guys who do a new car delivery and so forth.

Thanks,

Evan

If it were mine some kind of stick on clear bra would be high on my list.

You can get collapsable buckets but failing that I'd buy a couple out there then give them to someone when I left.

If you like Ultima then stick with that range.

I've picked up two cars in Germany so here's what I would do. I would enjoy my time in Germany in my new car and detail it when I got it home. You've got a new car with a new finish. Leave it alone until you get it back here.

Have a nice trip and enjoy your car and the beautiful scenery!! Congratulations.

Spencer, while I appreciate that advice, I don't think that's good for me. Maybe if I were only there for a week, and only planned on putting a couple hundred miles on the car. But I'll be there for six weeks, and will put somewhere between 4200-5000 miles on it during that time.

I really don't want to leave it totally unprotected for that many miles.
